Expectant Parents
Meet and Greet Visits
Congratulations and thank you for considering Oberlin Pediatrics for your children's medical care! Whether you are a prospective parent or parent-to-be, we are excited to get acquainted with you through a Meet and Greet visit. These visits give you the opportunity to learn about our practice and services and meet your future pediatrician.
Each Meet and Greet will last about an hour and will be hosted by one of our doctors. This visit will give you a chance to tour our office and answer any general questions you might have.
Space is limited to five couples per Meet and Greet and is for prospective parents only. We ask that you do not bring your children with you.
If you are interested, please contact our office at 919-828-4747 to schedule.
First Visit
To register your baby and schedule the first visit, you will call us when you are being discharged from the hospital, and we will schedule your first appointment for the next day.
All of our pediatric healthcare providers are well-qualified and genuinely care about the well-being of your child. In an effort to find a particular provider that you feel most comfortable with, we encourage you to meet different providers during your first four months with our practice. After your first four months, you will be asked to choose a "preferred provider". We will document this provider in your child's chart and will make every effort to schedule your office visits with this provider. Your preferred provider can be changed at any time.
